Vecino: 'Inter on the right track'

Matias Vecino insists Inter “are on the right track” after their 1-1 draw with Roma, but are without a victory in six Serie A rounds.

“We couldn’t lose this game, as we gave it everything in the second half and pinned Roma back. I think the draw was the fair result,” the midfielder told Mediaset Premium.

Vecino has scored two goals in an Inter jersey and both of them were against the Giallorossi.

Borja Valero versus the Viola

Tears could be shed when Borja Valero visits his beloved Fiorentina, but there can never be bitterness for the Mayor of Florence, writes Giancarlo Rinaldi.

Roberto Baggio could not bring himself to take a penalty, while Manuel Rui Costa always seemed to play a little below his own immense standards. And Gabriel Batistuta, of course, burst into tears when he scored a goal. Playing against Fiorentina, for any former Viola legend, can do strange things to a man.
