Conte wants a 'Kessie type' for Inter

Antonio Conte has asked Inter for a Franck Kessie type of midfielder, it’s reported, but realises N’Golo Kante is out of the question from Chelsea.

The coach had his transfer summit with directors today at the training ground and multiple sources including La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sportitalia and TMW all claim Christian Eriksen is on his way back to the Premier League, with Radja Nainggolan moving to Cagliari on loan.

They will be replaced by someone in the mould of Milan midfielder Kessie, a more rugged figure that Conte has requested for his squad.

Report: Nainggolan to Cagliari on loan

Inter have agreed to send Radja Nainggolan back to Cagliari on loan, claim reports, with Marko Rog’s injury intensifying negotiations.

The Belgium international was already in Sardinia last season and has barely featured for the Nerazzurri this term under Antonio Conte.

Sassuolo are reportedly joining Cagliari in the chase for Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan in January.

Tuttosport reports sporting director Giovanni Carnevali said the Neroverdi ‘won’t sell in January’ and stressed it will ‘not be easy’ to find the right players to strengthen the side.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fiorentina and Sassuolo have sounded out Radja Nainggolan, but the Inter midfielder wants Cagliari return.

Report: Inter look for exchange deals

Inter are reportedly prepared to include Christian Eriksen in possible exchange deals for either Leandro Paredes or Granit Xhaka.

Inter need the right offer for Nainggolan

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio confirmed Radja Nainggolan will only leave in January if the Nerazzurri receive the right offer.

Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini has not given up on bringing Radja Nainggolan back to Sardinia, ‘if Inter want to talk about it.’

The Belgium international had spent last season on loan at Cagliari, where he had played for several years before his move to Roma.

“The situation is even more complicated compared to this summer, because we don’t have the revenue from ticket sales,” confessed Giulini on Radiolina.

Cagliari play down Nainggolan transfer rumours

Cagliari General Director Mario Passetti has admitted the Sardinians can’t sign Radja Nainggolan in the January transfer window.

“We tried to sign him last summer but we could not manage to wrap up the deal,” the Sardinians’ director told DAZN ahead of Cagliari-Inter.

“We brought in important players but we are facing a tough moment now,” he added.
