Cagliari back in for Nainggolan?

Cagliari sporting director Pierluigi Carta has hinted the Rossoblu will try to get Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan back to Sardinia this winter.

The former Belgium international was loaned out to Cagliari last term and the Rossoblu tried to bring him on a permanent deal during the summer.

But sporting director Carta admitted the conditions made a move impossible during the summer but doesn’t rule out that Cagliari will try again in January.

Inter: Nainggolan out against Sassuolo

Inter have announced Radja Nainggolan has suffered an injury in his left leg and will not be available against Sassuolo.

The Belgian has struggled after his return to Inter and the club confirmed in a statement that the midfielder has suffered a muscle injury in the left foot.

Since his return from loan at Cagliari, the midfielder has struggled to reclaim a place in the Nerazzurri squad.

Torino meet with Inter over Nainggolan?

Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati has reportedly scheduled a meeting with Beppe Marotta to discuss a possible transfer for Radja Nainggolan in January.

Calciomercato.com reveals the Granata director has scheduled to meet with the Inter CEO to hold talks over a possible arrival for the former Belgium international this winter.

Nainggolan returned to Inter after a season with Cagliari, who were trying to bring him back on a permanent deal during the summer.

Report: Gagliardini and Radu still positive

Inter duo Roberto Gagliardini and Ionut Radu are reportedly still positive for COVID-19, while Ashley Young and Milan Skriniar have carried out new swabs.

Sky Sport Italia reports Gagliardini and Radu are still positive after the latest coronavirus tests, as the Nerazzurri prepare to face Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Champions League tomorrow.

The broadcaster reveals Skriniar, who is still quarantined in Slovakia, and Young are waiting for the last results after having carried out tests today.

Radja and Bastoni return for Inter

Alessandro Bastoni and Radja Nainggolan will reportedly complete the required medical tests today before returning to training with Inter.

Coach Antonio Conte continues to struggle with four players absent for coronavirus, as Milan Skriniar and Roberto Gagliardini are still positive, whilst Ashley Young and Ionut Radu will receive their test results between tomorrow and Wednesday.

Tuttosport reports Nainggolan and Bastoni have recovered and will complete the medical procedure established by the protocol before returning to the fold.

Nainggolan: 'Thanks for the support'

Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan has thanked the fans for the supportive messages after learning he had tested positive for coronavirus.

The Nerazzurri confirmed the Belgian has tested positive for COVID-19, and the former Roma man posted a message on social media to thank fans for their support.

“Hello everyone,” he wrote. “Unfortunately, I’m positive for COVID too. I’m in isolation, I have ready your many messages and I sincerely thank you for the affection.

“I hope to return soon.”

Cagliari: 'Tried to last minute for Nainggolan'

Skriniar: 'I feel fine' after COVID diagnosis

Milan Skriniar assures he feels ‘fine’ and is in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19, even though Inter haven’t confirmed it yet.

So far, the Nerazzurri have only announced via a statement that Alessandro Bastoni has contracted Coronavirus, as he was tested while at the Italy Under-21 squad.

Multiple reports also stated that Skriniar had tested positive yesterday, although Inter have not made any formal comment.

Now the Slovakian football federation have confirmed the diagnosis, along with the player himself via Instagram.
