Transfer expert Matteo Moretto says Heorhiy Sudakov has a release clause in excess of €100m, so it’s hard to imagine a summer transfer for the Ukraine star unless a Premier League is involved.

Several European clubs, including Barcelona and Manchester City, have been linked with signing Sudakov in the summer. The versatile midfielder has recently revealed offers from Napoli and Juventus.

Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto has provided an update on the Ukraine international through Caught Offside, revealing that the 21-year-old has a release clause above €100m included in his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk.

Moretto argued that with such a high sum, it is difficult to imagine a summer transfer for Sudakov unless a Premier League club is involved. The Italian transfer expert added that Juventus inquired about the 21-year-old multiple times in January.

Sudakov claimed Napoli‘s offer was around €40m, but Shakhtar rejected it.

The 21-year-old signed a new contract until December 31, 2028, this past February.
