'Verratti & Insigne are the best!'

Zdenek Zeman claims former Pescara proteges Marco Verratti and Lorenzo Insigne are the ‘best’ in their respective positions.

Verratti and Insigne rose to prominence under Zeman during the 2011-12 campaign, helping Pescara reach Serie A and Ciro Immobile score 28 goals in the second tier.

Silva to miss Napoli

Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva is expected to miss the Champions League game with Napoli tomorrow night.

The Partenopei will fly out to France today for tomorrow’s match at the Parc des Prince, with Carlo Ancelotti facing his old side and Edinson Cavan reuniting with his former team.

Former Milan centre-back Silva is likely to be absent though, with Le Parisien reporting that he didn’t train today due to a hamstring injury.

The Brazilian missed the win over Amiens at the weekend, and hasn’t trained since Friday.
