Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is in doubt to feature against Udinese or KRC Genk after suffering a shoulder injury.

The Senegal international fell heavily on to his left shoulder during this morning’s training session.

According to Sky Sport Italia, it’s not yet clear when Koulibaly will be available to start.

As Kostas Manolas has also been struggling with bruised ribs for several weeks, Carlo Ancelotti is down to the bare bones.

ADL plans summer overhaul

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is planning a major overhaul of the squad next summer, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The club has been in the eye of the storm recently, as the players defied orders to return to a President-sanctioned training retreat at Castelvolturno following the 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti reportedly backed the players, but he and his staff returned to the 'ritiro'. This led to De Laurentiis fining all the players.

Napoli freeze wages and sell stars?

President Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly freezing Napoli salaries, aiming to dock 25 per cent, and sell star names including Kalidou Koulibaly following the ‘mutiny.’

A press silence has been imposed, so the players and coach Carlo Ancelotti have been barred from giving their side of the story.
