De Zerbi: 'Sending off changed game'

Sassuolo coach Roberto De Zerbi believes the sending off of Federico Peluso conditioned the match. “ We will never know how the match would’ve ended 11 vs 11.”

The Neroverdi came away from the Stadio Luigi Ferraris with a point, with former Juventus defender Peluso receiving his marching orders only 25 minutes into the game.

Ranieri: 'A point is always good'

Sampdoria boss Claudio Ranieri was happy with the point against Sassuolo, especially in the aftermath of their 5-1 drubbing against Lazio last week. “A point is always a point.”

Ranieri’s men battled to a 0-0 draw with the Neroverdi, yet the former Roma coach was satisfied given last week’s performance against the Biancocelesti.

“A point is always a point, especially after the defeat in Rome last week,” said Ranieri in his press conference.

Ranieri: 'No Samp arrogance after Brescia'

Sampdoria boss Claudio Ranieri says he doesn’t believe his players became too confident after their 5-1 win against Brescia. “I think we were a little too open against Lazio.”
