Mandzukic available against Juventus

Milan forward Mario Mandzukic has reportedly recovered in time to be available against his former club Juventus.

The Croatian forward moved to San Siro in January, but the 34-year-old has only played seven times since his arrival.

The former Croatia international has missed seven games due to a muscle injury but was back in action last month before he was forced to miss the 2-0 win over Benevento due to bronchitis.

Tuttosport reports Stefano Pioli has the veteran back at his disposal ahead of the big game against Juventus on Sunday.

Milan: Mandzukic returns against Juventus

Milan striker Mario Mandzukic reportedly trained with the rest of the group today and will be fit to face his former club Juventus on Sunday.

The Croat missed Milan’s home clash against Benevento this past Saturday as he suffered from bronchitis.

However, according to Calciomercato.com he has now recovered and returned to training with the rest of the group today.

According to the report, Mandzukic will be available to play against Juventus when the Rossoneri travel to the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

Milan forward Mario Mandzukic has struggled with injuries since his return to Italy and the Rossoneri are reportedly not planning to renew his contract.

The former Juventus striker returned to Serie A in January and was thought to help ease the large responsibility on Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front.
