Juve drop Morata and Cuadrado?

Juventus are expected to field a 3-5-2 system against Manchester City tonight, but Alvaro Morata and Juan Cuadrado could be dropped.

The Champions League showdown kicks off at 19.45 GMT and the temperature in Turin this evening is predicted to be close to freezing.

According to Mediaset Premium, Max Allegri has opted for the 3-5-2 tactic in this crucial game for qualification.

There are still doubts, but the latest reports suggest Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic will be the front two, therefore shelving Morata.

Juventus need penalty area improvement

Juventus were amongst the goals at Empoli last Sunday, but were far from convincing. Luca Cetta says the Bianconeri must improve in both penalty areas.

Massimo Maccarone’s strike must have brought back memories of Sassuolo. And the game against Empoli to that point followed a similar pattern: a sluggish opening punished by a goal. Juventus’ first half at Mapei Stadium was deemed ‘unacceptable’ by captain Gianluigi Buffon, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat. Where the matches differed is that last Sunday the Bianconeri managed to recover.
