Juve to sacrifice three players for Pogba?

Juventus could have to sacrifice three of their current stars to help materialise a return for Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

The French World Cup winner has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford for most of the current campaign and a farewell seems more and more likely.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Bianconeri are prepared to play all their cards to make sure the superstar returns to the Allianz Stadium, but writes that they might have to sacrifice three of their current players.

Verratti-Pjanic exchange rejected

Juventus tried to offer Miralem Pjanic as part of an exchange deal for Marco Verratti, claim Tuttosport, but Paris Saint-Germain immediately shot it down.

According to the Turin-based newspaper, it was always a long shot, but the Bianconeri still attempted to begin negotiations for the transfer of midfielders.

Pjanic has struggled to adapt in Maurizio Sarri’s style of football, so it was hoped Verratti would better fit the bill with his mixture of quality and physical aggression.

All but three Juventus players cleared

The Bianconeri are one of the hardest-hit clubs in Serie A with three cases, as Dybala and his girlfriend were both confirmed to have the virus yesterday.

According to Sky Sport Italia, every single player has now been tested and they are the only positive results.

Lawyer: 'Who allowed Higuain to leave?'

A lawyer studying the Coronavirus pandemic and its implications can’t believe Juventus allowed Gonzalo Higuain, Miralem Pjanic and Sami Khedira to leave.

Daniele Rugani was the first Serie A player to test positive and Blaise Matuidi has since followed, so 121 people connected to the club went into self-isolation.

It was meant to be for 14 days, but Higuain, Pjanic and Khedira left just seven days into their quarantine.

Juve insist they tested negative and their isolation was “voluntary,” so could be broken at any time.
