Marotta Champions League regrets

Juventus have “regrets” over their Champions League exit, as Beppe Marotta assures they “are at the same level as the biggest clubs.”

The Bianconeri went out in extra time to Bayern Munich, who were eliminated in the semi-final last night by Atletico Madrid.

“There are regrets we’re not at this stage of the tournament,” director general Marotta told Mediaset Premium.

Juventus director Beppe Marotta confirms “Manchester City asked us for Paul Pogba, but we politely replied he was not for sale.”

The director general spoke to Mediaset Premium this evening and was asked about interest in the €100m-rated midfielder.

“It’s true, Manchester City asked us for Pogba last year. We said as much, but we politely replied that he was not for sale and the matter ended there.

Juventus at match-fixing seminar

Juventus team and staff attended a workshop to help combat match-fixing today, organised by the Lega Serie A.

The seminar has been held at numerous Serie A, B and Lega Pro clubs throughout the season.

Today was Juve’s turn to attend with players, coaching staff, medics and directors.

It was run by Marcello Presilla, the Italian lawyer representing Sportradar AG, the UEFA partner that monitors unusual betting patterns to spot potential fixes.

Marotta: 'Morata wants Juve'

Beppe Marotta assures Alvaro Morata “wants to stay with Juventus, but his destiny depends also on Real Madrid.”
