Marotta: 'Juve don't want Verratti'

Juventus director Beppe Marotta admits they are “not interested in Marco Verratti” and dropped Corentin Tolisso following a change of tactics.

Mirabelli: 'Enormous Donnarumma offer'

Milan director Massimiliano Mirabelli assures they made an “enormous offer” to Gianluigi Donnarumma and jokes he’ll take Cristiano Ronaldo in a swap deal.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper, via agent Mino Raiola, informed his club on Thursday that there would be no contract renewal on the deal that expires in June 2018.

“We wanted to make him a symbol of Milan for our fans and Gigio had everything required to fill that role,” director of sport Mirabelli told the Corriere dello Sport.

Marotta: 'Allegri sent a signal'

Beppe Marotta said Juventus “chose to send a signal and give consistency to the project” with Max Allegri’s contract extension to 2020.

The announcement of the new deal was made today, although it had been expected to run to 2019.

“There were no problems, it all went as planned,” director general Marotta told Mediaset Premium.

“We chose to send a signal and give consistency to the project.”

Marotta visits Turin stampede victims

Juventus director Beppe Marotta and Federation President Carlo Tavecchio visited the family of a child in critical condition after the fanzone stampede.

Around 20,000 were packed into Piazza San Carlo last night to watch the Champions League Final, but just after Real Madrid’s third goal there was a sudden noise, believed to be a firework.
