Valencia scout Juve's Pjaca

Valencia are interested in signing Juventus winger Marko Pjaca, who is currently on loan at Schalke 04.

The Croatia international was loaned out in January so he could get more regular playing time after a serious injury.

It helped him rediscover his form, as the 22-year-old scored two goals in just six Bundesliga appearances.

According to Superdeporte, Valencia have sent scouts to view Pjaca in action in Germany.

‘Pjaca could’ve replaced Dybala’

Marko Pjaca’s agent claims the Schalke loanee “would’ve found space” at Juventus by filling in for the injured Paulo Dybala.

Pjaca enjoyed a dream debut for Schalke, scoring in a 1-1 draw with Hannover on Sunday, and Marko Naletic made it clear Juve’s loss was the German side’s gain.

“He had a fantastic debut. His goal was extraordinary like the player,” he told Juvenews.eu.

Agent: ‘Pjaca has to play next season’

Marko Pjaca’s agent warns the Juventus winger “won’t accept another season like this” when he returns from Schalke 04.

The Croatian has been sent out on loan for the remaining six months of the season, as he needs playing time as he recovers from a cruciate injury.

The Bianconeri want him back for next season, but his representative says he doesn’t want to sit on the bench.

“Pjaca is a Juventus player who is on loan to Schalke,” explained Marko Naletilic.
