Juventus are demanding, not dreaming

At least Juventus have finally admitted their ambitions out loud, but Kaustubh Pandey wonders if Andrea Pirlo is the man to make them a superclub.

It is a target. Having said that, is Andrea Pirlo really the man to take them there?

Nedved: 'Juventus judged over a season'

Pavel Nedved insists Juventus ‘coaches, players and directors are judged over the course of a season’ and not on tonight’s Champions League clash with Lyon.

Nedved: 'Mourinho wanted me at Inter'

Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved reveals Jose Mourinho asked him to join their Treble-winning squad, but ‘I’d have followed him to any club other than Inter.’

'Kulusevski, be more like Ilicic'

Parma boss Roberto D’Aversa says Dejan Kulusevski ‘reminds me of Pavel Nedved’ but also that the Juventus new boy needs to be more like Josip Ilicic.

Kulusevski signed for Juve in January but was loaned back to Parma for the rest of the season, and D’Aversa made it clear the Bianconeri had bagged themselves a gem.

“He’s a winner. And if you tease him, he gives it back: he reacts immediately, but always with education and in a positive way,” he told Tuttosport.
