Nothing left of Sarri's Napoli

Maurizio Sarri and Napoli together felt like a fairytale, but as they reunite on Sunday, Tommaso Adami fears they’ll never find that chemistry again.

Once upon a time there was Naples, a city whose people were so in love with football that the God of the sport himself decided to descend from the heavens to join their team. He took them to heights they'd never even fathomed and brought the most beautiful trophies the city had ever seen. But one day, sadly, he had to leave.

Conte: 'I hate losing!'

Inter coach Antonio Conte reveals how defeats impact on him more than victories and accepts he is not “very diplomatic” when speaking to the Press.

Conte is known for his animated celebrations in the dugout, but he insists the euphoria is “very short”, compared to the sensation of losing, which lasts for “a day or two”.

“You can see the passion I have, even if I’m embarrassed by it afterwards,” he told Che Tempo Che Fa.

Lautaro: 'Inter are my home'

Lautaro Martinez has assured that he is “happy” at Inter and revealed how his “uncomfortable childhood” made him more “humble”.

Barcelona have been heavily linked with signing Martinez to replace Luis Suarez, but the speculation only makes the Argentine feel like he’s doing something right.

Ronaldinho: 'Messi not all-time best'

Former Milan star Ronaldinho disagrees Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi is the best player of all time. “There was Maradona, Ronaldo...”

Official: Maradona back at Gimnasia

Napoli hero Diego Maradona has sensationally announced that he will be staying on as coach of Gimnasia La Plata after all.

The Argentine initially stepped down from the position after it emerged President Gabriel Pellegrino would not be running for re-election.

However, the fans put on a public demonstration, calling for Maradona to return, and their wishes have been granted.

“It makes me very happy to announce that I’ll stay on as coach of Gimnasia,” he wrote on Instagram.

Maradona to leave Gimnasia?

Napoli icon Diego Maradona could reportedly leave Argentine side Gimnasia La Plata, just two months into his tenure.

Gimnasia President Gabriel Pellegrino was behind Maradona’s appointment as coach, yet he could be why the 59-year-old vacates his role.

That is because, as per Clarin, he will leave if Pellegrino does not run for another stint as President.

‘Pibe de Oro’ took the job in September, on a contract until the end of the season, and has taken nine points from his first six games.
