Diamanti: 'West Ham my biggest regret'

Alessandro Diamanti is “enjoying life to the fullest” in Australia, revealing he rejected Juventus and Milan, had free kick competitions with Gianfranco Zola and "regrets leaving West Ham."

The former Italy international moved to Western United in the Australian A-League and has scored one goal in his seven first matches at his new club.

Life in Australia is treating him well and the 36-year-old is not expecting to go back to Livorno.

Inter open Gabigol bidding war

Inter’s on-loan striker Gabigol could be heading to Crystal Palace or West Ham, according to reports, if Flamengo cannot agree a permanent deal.

The Brazilian recently scored both goals in the final of the Copa Libertadores against River Plate to secure the title for Flamengo, who signed him on loan for a year at the beginning of 2019.

His performances have seemingly caught the eye of clubs around Europe after he scored 31 goals in 38 competitive games.

The Spaniard has gone in a few short months from star man at San Siro to frustrating figure with no tactical versatility.

West Ham and Man Utd for Mandzukic

Mario Mandzukic turned down a move to Qatar, as the Juventus striker reportedly has January offers from Manchester United and West Ham United.

The Croatian veteran is no longer required in Turin under Coach Maurizio Sarri and had been in advanced negotiations with Al-Rayyan.

It’s reported he rejected a contract worth €7m per year to play in Qatar, as he wants to remain at a certain level.

Multiple sources claim Mandzukic has a proposal on the table from Manchester United for the January transfer window.

Obiang: 'Sassuolo stronger than expected'

Pedro Obiang admits his Sassuolo teammates are “much stronger than I expected and I’ve seen the quality at our disposal.”

The midfielder made the move from West Ham United for €8m, a return to Italy after his experience at Sampdoria, which concluded in 2015.

“The team is much stronger than I expected, as being on the inside I’ve seen the quality at our disposal. We’re also all pretty young, so I settled in well,” Obiang said in his Press conference.

Official: Obiang joins Sassuolo

Pedro Obiang has officially completed his transfer from West Ham United to Sassuolo. “I wanted a family atmosphere.”

The midfielder signed the paperwork today after undergoing a medical and it’s believed the cost of the operation was €8.6m.

It is a return to Serie A for the 27-year-old, who was at Sampdoria until moving to the Hammers in 2015.

“I can’t wait to get started,” Obiang told Tuttomercatoweb.

“I had other offers, but I wanted a family atmosphere and I have that at Sassuolo.”

Obiang: 'I matured at West Ham'

Pedro Obiang has arrived for his Sassuolo medical. “I return to Serie A as a more mature player” after the West Ham United experience.

The 27-year-old had spent practically his entire career in Italy with Sampdoria, progressing from the youth academy to the senior squad.

He was sold to West Ham for €6m in the summer of 2015 and is now back in the Peninsula four years later for a reported €8.9m.

Obiang all set for Sassuolo

West Ham United midfielder Pedro Obiang will fly in for a Sassuolo medical this weekend after agreeing a transfer for €8m plus bonuses.

Sky Sport Italia transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio claims the deal is done and final details were sorted out this evening.

Obiang is currently in China, where West Ham are on a pre-season tour, but will fly to Italy on Sunday and undergo a medical next week.

It is a return to Serie A for the 27-year-old Guinea international, as he spent most of his career at Sampdoria from 2008 to 2015.

Belotti rejects €60m West Ham bid

West Ham United offered €60m for Italy international striker Andrea Belotti, it’s reported, but Torino have a €100m release clause.

According to Tuttosport, the Hammers made a huge €60m (approximately £54m) bid for the 25-year-old centre-forward.

Toro turned it down, as ‘Il Gallo’ is not for sale and has a €100m release clause in his contract, valid only for clubs outside of Italy.

Higuain pushing Kean out of Juve?

Gonzalo Higuain is continuing to reject all offers to leave Juventus, the latest coming from Roma and West Ham United, so Moise Kean could go instead.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the striker has no intention of moving away from the Turin giants again following dismal loan spells with Milan and Chelsea.

He is convinced he can turn Maurizio Sarri around, having already worked with the Coach at Napoli and Stamford Bridge.

This could be a problem for Juve, and the Corriere di Torino newspaper maintains Kean will be released instead.
