Cassano: 'Juve pay cut? They know it's over'

Former Italy international Antonio Cassano has claimed that Juventus would only cut the salaries because “they already know” the season is over.

The players and the club at the Allianz Stadium agreed on a pay cut during the forced break, revealing a saved cost of €90m for the Old Lady.

But the former Roma star Cassano has claimed they must know that the 2019-20 season will not resume.

Totti: 'I could still play...'

Francesco Totti took part in the Italian version of Celebrity Hunted, getting help from Marco Di Vaio and Antonio Cassano. “I could still play half-an-hour and have my say on the pitch.”

The 43-year-old Roma legend had to take on a series of disguises during the show and make his ‘escape’ from the chasing pack by using his wits and contacts.

Totti got a lift from Bologna director Di Vaio and had lunch at the home of Cassano’s mother in Genoa.

Cassano: 'If Ilicic was at Juve..."

Antonio Cassano has claimed that “the whole world” would have been talking about Atalanta forward Josip Ilicic if he played at Juventus.

The former Italy international heaped more praise on the Slovenian, who scored four goals in a 4-3 win against Valencia ahead of the forced break due to the Coronavirus.

Those four goals brought his total tally to 21 across all competitions, as the 32-year-old has impressed yet again in his third season with the Orobici.

'Ronaldo should've been booked!'

Massimo Ferrero jokes Cristiano Ronaldo “had to be booked after that leap” and reveals Antonio Cassano could return to Sampdoria as a director.

Ronaldo rose to 2.56m when he scored a header during Juventus’ 2-1 win at Samp last night, and Ferrero’s reaction to the goal was typically unorthodox.

“The team are there, we saw that yesterday against Juve,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

Cassano: 'Waited months for Sarri'

Antonio Cassano claims “we have waited four months” for Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus to take shape and Leonardo Bonucci can’t help Matthijs de Ligt.

Juve lost 3-1 to Lazio on Sunday and Cassano warns time is running out for the ex-Chelsea and Napoli boss to find his feet at the Allianz Stadium.

“Everyone keeps saying we need to be patient with Sarri, but we have waited four months now,” he told Tiki Taka.

“As soon as they faced a team as strong as Lazio, he lost.”

Cassano: 'Big Ronaldo problem'

Antonio Cassano claims there is a “big problem” between Cristiano Ronaldo and Maurizio Sarri and that Gianluigi Buffon should be Juventus No 1.

After a setback against Sassuolo at the Allianz Stadium, where a penalty from Ronaldo saved a point against the Neroverdi on Sunday, Cassano seems convinced the club is hiding an issue between the No 7 and Sarri.

“I think Ronaldo has a big problem with Sarri,” Cassano told Tiki Taka. “Everything started with the two consecutive substitutions, which would irritate any player.
