Walcott offers himself to Milan?

The Corriere dello Sport newspaper claims Arsenal and England forward Theo Walcott offered himself to Milan for a January transfer.

The 28-year-old is under contract to June 2019 and has been with the Gunners since January 2006.

His playing time has been very limited this season, making only four substitute appearances in the Premier League, nonetheless contributing four goals and five assists in 13 competitive games.

It’s reported he is concerned that he’ll lose his spot in the England squad going to the 2018 World Cup this summer.

According to Sky Sport Italia pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the former Napoli and Inter Coach is on the radar of two sides in England’s top flight.

Everton are the prime candidates, as Ronald Koeman is hanging by a thread after picking up just seven points from the opening seven Premier League games.

The Toffees were also hammered 3-0 by Atalanta in the Europa League, then held to a draw by 10-man Apollon Limassol.

West Ham United continue to be linked with a bid for Napoli Coach Maurizio Sarri as a future replacement for Slaven Bilic.

The Mirror had already suggested Sarri as a target for the Premier League side several weeks ago and this story is not going away.

A far more likely option would be former Borussia Dortmund tactician Thomas Tuchel, who is currently a free agent.

“The best thing was to find a solution that made everyone happy. Monaco had already asked for the lad last season and came back with real determination.
