Juve: Nastasic or Abdennour

Juventus can focus on their defence now and, after Aymen Abdennour, are targeting Schalke centre-back Matija Nastasic.

The Bianconeri have already been very active on the market this summer, bringing in Sami Khedira, Paulo Dybala, Simone Zaza and Mario Mandzukic.

Now they are turning their attention to strengthening the back line, as Angelo Ogbonna is on the verge of a move to West Ham or Everton.

According to Tuttosport, Juve are renewing their past interest for ex-Fiorentina defender Nastasic.

West Ham win Ogbonna race?

According to Tuttosport, West Ham have beaten Everton, Aston Villa and Southampton to Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna.

The centre-back is on the verge of a transfer to the Premier League, but there is a bidding war for his services.

It was reported on Friday evening that West Ham had won the race for €10m plus another €2m in performance-related bonuses.

That translates to £7.1m plus £1.4m potential add-ons.

Milan still in Abdennour hunt

Milan are still in the running for Aymen Abdennour, as it’s reported West Ham haven’t agreed terms with Monaco yet.

Having negotiated deals for Sevilla forward Carlos Bacca and Roma midfielder Andrea Bertolacci, for a combined cost of €50m, the Rossoneri are now turning their attention towards the defence.

According to Sky Sport Italia, West Ham are in negotiations with Monaco, but haven’t agreed terms for the player rated €19.2m (£13.5m).

This leaves the door open for Milan to push forward with their own proposal.

West Ham edge in for Ogbonna

Angelo Ogbonna looks set to leave for the Premier League, where West Ham lead the race against Everton.

The Italy international had already been touted for an English transfer, but it seems the pecking order has changed.

According to the Sunday Mirror, the Hammers are now the most likely destination for Ogbonna.

The club reportedly made an offer of €17m to secure the defender.

Destro accepts Monaco move?

There are multiple reports that Roma striker Mattia Destro has accepted a transfer to Monaco for €14m plus bonuses.

The centre-forward spent the last six months on loan at Milan, but they did not take up their option to buy for €18m.

According to several sources, including calciomercato.it, Sport Mediaset and La Gazzetta dello Sport, they are down to the details for this move to Monaco.

Destro took to his Twitter account to comment on the story.

Hammers and Schalke want Bardi

Inter-owned Italy Under-21 goalkeeper Francesco Bardi is linked with West Ham United and Schalke 04.

The shot-stopper is currently playing in the European Under-21 Championship with the Azzurrini.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he has received offers from Premier League side West Ham and Germany’s Schalke 04.

So far most of the interest in signing Bardi has come from overseas, as in Italy only Fiorentina have asked for information.

Reports suggest that West Ham United have agreed a €7.5m deal for Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang.

La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that Blucerchiati President Massimo Ferrero spent the weekend in London and reached an agreement with the Hammers.

Report: Obiang to West Ham

Sampdoria reportedly agreed a €6m transfer with West Ham United for Pedro Obiang.

The Spanish midfielder has long been linked with a number of big clubs, but the Hammers apparently were the most active.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Obiang is on the verge of completing his move for €6m (£4.4m).The 23-year-old grew up in the Atletico Madrid youth academy before coming to Sampdoria in July 2008.

President Massimo Ferrero flew in to London yesterday for a series of meetings.

Samp ask for Enner Valencia

Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero will be in London for talks with West Ham, Southampton and Enner Valencia.

The movie mogul and club patron is expected to fly out today in order to complete a series of deals.

The first is an exchange with West Ham United, offering midfielder Pedro Obiang for striker Enner Valencia.

The Ecuador international centre-forward arrived from Pachuca for €15m in July 2014 after an excellent World Cup.

PSV-Hammers fight for Donsah

Cagliari midfielder Godfred Donsah had been close to PSV Eindhoven, but West Ham reportedly stepped up a gear.

The Ghanaian talent is only 18 years old, but exploded on to the Serie A scene this season with two goals and an assist in 21 games.

With Cagliari’s relegation into Serie B, Donsah is for sale and director of sport Francesco Marroccu confirmed “we’ve received offers.”
