Preziosi: 'Juric to Genoa....'

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi dropped a big hint Gian Piero Gasperini will leave to be replaced by Crotone boss Ivan Juric.

Crotone secured their first ever promotion into the top flight last week with Juric at the helm and he has been heavily linked with a move to Marassi.

“I don’t like to talk about club issues with the media. I can just say that on Friday I had dinner with Gasperini and we clarified our positions,” Preziosi told Sky Sport Italia.

Preziosi ‘will pay €10m for Suso’

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi says he’s ‘willing to buy Suso from Milan for €10m’ when his loan ends.

The Spaniard arrived at the Marassi in January and has been in impressive form, scoring a superb hat-trick against Frosinone on 3 April.

He is due to return to Milan at the end of the season, but Preziosi today revealed he’s willing to spend big money to keep the winger.

“He wanted Genoa just for six months, while I wanted him for 18,” Preziosi told Il Secolo XIX.

“There is no agreement for Perotti either. Will he stay? Good question…

Preziosi: ‘Gasperini stays’

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi says Gian Piero Gasperini won’t leave and that Leonardo Pavoletti is ‘second only to Gonzalo Higuain’.

The Rossoblu have struggled this season and are currently in 15th place, which has led to some protests from fans.

However, the form of Pavoletti has been a positive and Preziosi has called for an Azzurri call-up for the striker.

Preziosi slams Genoa Ultras

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi hits out at the club’s Ultras - “fortunately 95 per cent of Genoa fans understand my efforts”.

The Grifone are currently languishing in 16th-place in Serie A, though they defeated fellow struggler Palermo 4-0 at the weekend.

The hardcore element of the club’s support have criticised the patron and Coach Gian Piero Gasperini, but the President shrugs off the criticism.

Preziosi: 'Stadium security clampdown'

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi warns in the wake of the Paris attacks, stadium security must be stepped up in Serie A.

Over 130 people were killed on Friday, but it would’ve been many more had three suicide bombers succeeded in entering the Stade de France during France’s friendly against Germany.

Fears over a repeat attack saw Belgium v Spain and Germany v Holland called off.

“We hope that we won’t ever have to deal with a tragedy like the one in France,” Preziosi told club Presidents in the Lega Serie A meeting today.
