Juric: 'Different visions of Genoa'

Ivan Juric feels Genoa “absolutely deserved more” than a 1-1 draw against Sampdoria, but President Enrico Preziosi has a “completely different vision to mine.”

“This result really hurts, because we absolutely deserved more,” Juric told Sky Sport Italia.

Tudor set for Genoa job

Former Udinese Coach Igor Tudor has emerged as the favourite to replace Ivan Juric as Genoa’s third tactician in five weeks.

According to news agency Ansa, ex-Croatia international and Juventus defender Tudor could be appointed on Monday.

It’s another twist in the bizarre tale at Marassi, because Juric was only appointed on October 9 to replace sacked Davide Ballardini.

He managed two draws and two defeats, but it seems the 2-1 home loss to Napoli was the final straw.

Velazquez and Juric on the edge

Many of these defeats have been tight, such as the last-gasp loss to Milan or today’s 2-1 at Empoli after Rodrigo De Paul missed a penalty.
