Raiola plots Balotelli departure?

Brescia forward Mario Balotelli looks set for another stint abroad as agent Mino Raiola has allegedly opened talks with Vasco da Gama and Galatasaray.

The Italian striker returned to Italy last summer but has struggled to live up to the expectations, as Brescia are currently rooted to the foot of the table.

Balotelli, who signed a contract until June 2022 upon his return to Lombardy, has contributed five goals in 19 Serie A games this campaign.

Clubs line up for Cetin loan

Roma defender Mert Cetin is repeatedly linked with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, but could stay in Italy for Hellas Verona, Sassuolo or Sampdoria.

The 23-year-old centre-back cost €3m to purchase from Genclerbirligi last summer, but has made only five Serie A appearances.

He is likely to go out on loan next term, and a return to Turkey had been expected, with Galatasaray and Fenerbahce ready to give him regular playing time.

However, Tuttomercatoweb claim Cetin could well remain in Serie A for a while longer and have a loan experience in Italy.

The midfielder has made the move in January after interrupting his spell at Galatasaray due to his row with the club.

This deal had a clause written in meaning that if Rennes qualified for the Champions League, Nzonzi would automatically renew his loan for another season.

Galatasaray ask Roma for Cetin

Galatasaray are ready to make a summer offer for rarely-used Roma defender Mert Cetin this summer, claim reports in Turkey.

According to Fotomac, coach Fatih Terim is an admirer and wants to bring Cetin to Istanbul for next season.

Roma would have no problem with this idea, seeing as Cetin has barely played since joining from Genclerbirligi for €3m in August 2019.

The 23-year-old made just five Serie A appearances, only two of which were in the starting XI during an injury crisis.
