Wolves and West Ham eye Suso

Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United are reportedly preparing January swoops for Milan winger Suso.

The Spaniard has gone in a few short months from star man at San Siro to frustrating figure with no tactical versatility.

Fans are increasingly putting pressure on the club to sell him and there is a release clause in his contract worth €40m that is valid only for teams outside of Italy, but it is only available at certain periods of the season.

UEFA announce third tournament

UEFA have announced the 2021 Europa League Final will be in Sevilla, while a third club competition from 2021 is to be called the Europa Conference League.

It was confirmed in a UEFA Press conference this evening that the Video Assistant Referee technology will be available in all the Europa League knockout phase ties this season.

Not only is VAR not currently used in the Europa League group stage, but there aren’t even goal-line referees, so it has returned to the most old-fashioned version of officiating.

He has also picked up 89 caps for Denmark, representing his country at three major tournaments.

Official: Atalanta sign Arana

Atalanta have officially signed left-back Guilherme Arana from Sevilla on a season-long loan.

The deal includes an option to buy for Atalanta, reported to be in the region of €8-9m.

The Champions League qualifiers moved for Arana after they could not agree terms with Milan’s Diego Laxalt.

Sevilla paid €12m to take the Brazilian from Corinthians in January 2018, but competition for places limited him to just 10 League starts in southern Spain.

Still only 22, he has eight caps and two goals for his country at Under-20 level.
