Agent: 'Can see Lautaro at Barcelona'

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez can’t stop scoring with Argentina and his agent confessed “it’d be wonderful to see him play with Leo Messi at Barcelona.”

El Toro bagged a hat-trick against Mexico, meaning he now has a remarkable 12 goals in 14 senior caps.

“It’d be wonderful to see him play with Leo Messi at Barcelona,” agent Beto Yaque told TyC Sports.

Ronaldo: 'The difference with Messi...'

Cristiano Ronaldo insists “the difference with Lionel Messi is that I won the Champions League with several clubs and I identify with this tournament.”

The Juventus star spoke to DAZN in a documentary for their ‘The Making Of’ series, with another clip released today.

He discusses his rivalry with Barcelona hero Messi and their constant battle to be considered the greatest of their generation.

“The difference with Messi is that I played for several clubs and won the Champions League with different clubs,” said CR7.

Agent: 'Lautaro staying at Inter'

Lautaro Martinez “will not leave Inter and can’t wait to start work with Antonio Conte,” said his agent. “It’s true there was some Barcelona interest.”

His profile shot up considerably over the summer thanks to his Copa America performances, as he now has six goals in 11 senior caps for Argentina.

This prompted speculation that Barcelona wanted to sign the striker who turns 22 next month.

Dybala shines for Argentina

Juventus man Paulo Dybala scored one and set up another as Argentina beat Chile 2-1 for third place in the Copa America, but Leo Messi and Gary Medel saw red.

The Seleccion finished the tournament with a bronze medal and one of their more convincing performances, despite missing suspended Inter forward Lautaro Martinez.

Dybala started instead and made an immediate impact in a more advanced role, setting up Sergio Aguero before dinking the second over the on-rushing goalkeeper himself.

Lionel Messi considers Cristiano Ronaldo “on the same level” and even misses his old foe, but also has “a great deal of respect for Juventus.”

The Barcelona and Argentina star has been trading Ballon d’Ors with Ronaldo in recent years, with the battle raging on fan forums as to who is the strongest of the two.

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez will start alongside Leo Messi in Argentina’s friendly with Venezuela, confirmed Coach Lionel Scaloni.

The 21-year-old forward scored seven goals in 11 caps for his country at Under-20 level.

Messi makes trip for Inter

Barcelona have named their squad for the Champions League trip to Inter, including Lionel Messi, but without medical clearance.

It kicks off on Tuesday at 19.30 GMT.

Messi has been out of action for several weeks after fracturing a bone in his arm during a Liga encounter.

He is not expected to play or even be on the bench at San Siro, but is making the journey as part of the match-day squad anyway.

A statement from Barcelona note Messi is on the list, but “without medical clearance.”
