Verona: 'Juric has opportunities'

Hellas Verona director Tony D’Amico admits ‘there is a lot of attention’ around coach Ivan Juric, so it’s entirely possible he’ll leave next season.

Verona were promoted from Serie B via the play-offs and then hired former Genoa boss Juric, but their results have been remarkable, with nine wins, eight draws and eight defeats putting them in eighth place.

“There is a lot of attention around our coach and the results speak for him,” director of sport D’Amico told Sky Sport Italia.

Bielsa up for Fiorentina or Verona?

There are some reports Marcelo Bielsa wants to leave Leeds United for a Serie A experience at Fiorentina or Hellas Verona.

L’Arena newspaper, which is based in Verona, cites ‘South American sources’ with the story of a potential switch to Italy, but only if Leeds don’t get promoted to the Premier League.

There could be a merry-go-round on the benches, because Verona’s current coach is Ivan Juric, who has been linked with Fiorentina and West Ham United.

Juric: 'Relight the Verona fire'

Borini suffers muscle injury

Hellas Verona have announced that Fabio Borini is out with a muscle injury but haven’t confirmed the extent of the problem he picked up against Udinese.

Coach Ivan Juric received the bad news today, as the former Milan forward will most likely be ruled out of their match against Cagliari at the Bentegodi on Sunday.

“Hellas Verona FC announce that Fabio Borini has suffered a slight muscle injury in the left thigh,” the club wrote in a statement. “The time of recovery is not currently measurable.”

Juric: 'Great Verona performance'

Verona coach ivan Juric says his side produced “a great performance” despite the goalless draw with Udinese.

The Gialloblu best champions Juventus last weekend, but could only draw with Udinese today, so does Juric believe it is two points lost?

Gattuso to leave in June?

Juric: 'Hellas won with heart'

Ivan Juric saw Hellas Verona defeat Juventus with “heart more than anything” and admits they “certainly did not expect to do this well.”

The coach almost seemed to have a tear in his eye at the final whistle, as Fabio Borini and Giampaolo Pazzini completed the comeback from a Cristiano Ronaldo solo run to beat the leaders 2-1.
