Zampa: 'Eto'o has-been, Dybala vultures!'

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini called Samuel Eto’o a “has-been” and sees “vultures circling Paulo Dybala.”

The outspoken patron spoke to the Corriere dello Sport and was unimpressed with Sampdoria’s decision to sign Eto’o from Everton.

“Massimo Ferrero is extrovert and understands that sometimes football can be about putting on a show, but we’ll have to see how much fun he is when Samp lose a few games,” noted Zamparini.

‘We'll score two against Roma’

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini admits Roma are ‘strong’, but promises that his team will ‘score twice anyway’.

The Giallorossi are currently sitting three points behind Juventus and will be looking to close that gap in tomorrow's game against Palermo, to be played at the Renzo Barbera.

However the Rosanero’s President has warned that his team won't make for an easy opponent.

“They're strong, but my team is tough,” said Zamparini in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss.

Dybala 'worth at least €40m'

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini slapped a €40m price-tag on Paulo Dybala and will keep Franco Vazquez.

The patron spoke to Sky Sport Italia about his young strike duo who are setting Serie A alight this season.

“Vazquez will certainly renew his contract, but I’d have preferred for it to be sorted out six months ago,” said Zamparini.

“As for Dybala, so far offers for him have only come in obliquely, because they know how tough Zamparini can be.
