Novara appoint Mimmo Di Carlo

Serie B side Novara have appointed former Sampdoria and Chievo boss Domenico Di Carlo as their new Coach.

A statement on Novara’s official website confirms Di Carlo has signed a contract until June 2019.

The 54-year-old has been out of work since leaving Spezia last summer and takes over a Biancoazzurri side 15th in Serie B, just three points clear of the relegation places.

Di Carlo is best known for his two spells with Chievo, saving them from the Serie A drop both times.
