Giampaolo: 'I saw my Sampdoria again'

Marco Giampaolo “saw my Sampdoria again” in a 3-1 victory over Fiorentina and hailed hat-trick hero Fabio Quagliarella.

“It was a good performance, sprightly and sparkling. I really enjoyed it and saw my Sampdoria again in a game that was never in doubt,” the Coach told Rai Sport.

Quagliarella: ‘Hat-trick down to fun’

Fabio Quagliarella believes his hat-trick against Fiorentina is a result of the ‘fun’ he is having at Sampdoria.

The veteran forward netted a superb treble in the Blucerchiati’s 3-1 win over the Viola this afternoon, taking his season tally to 15 goals in 21 Serie A appearances.

“Without your head, your body cannot go anywhere,” the 34-year-old told reporters after the final whistle at Marassi.

Giampaolo: 'Pitch was disgusting'

Marco Giampaolo couldn’t celebrate Sampdoria’s last-gasp win over SPAL, because he was so angry at the state of their “disgusting” pitch.

Fabio Quagliarella converted a penalty at the 92nd minute and then added a second goal moments later for the 2-0 result at Marassi.

Cagliari comeback stuns Samp

Quagliarella: 'I could've had more'

Napoli line up Quagliarella?

It is reported that Napoli are lining up a January transfer swoop for Fabio Quagliarella.

The 34-year-old has been in excellent form so far this season, contributing seven goals and three assists in 12 appearances for current club Sampdoria.
