Chievo: 'Balotelli too expensive'

The striker spent last season on loan at Milan and has been linked with a return to Serie A after failing to impress Jurgen Klopp.

“He’s too expensive,” Chievo director of sport Luca Nember told Italiacalcio24.it.

He turns 19 in March and is a centre-forward tipped for a bright future in the Colombia squad.

However, Nember assured the arrival of a new striker would not see Paloschi leave.
