Leandro Castan insists Roma’s season was not ‘a disaster’, but work is being done to create ‘a better Roma’.

The Brazilian missed most of the last campaign after undergoing brain surgery, and watched his teammates finish 17 points adrift of Juventus in Serie A, as well as exiting at the Champions League group stage.

“I don’t see last season as a disaster,” the defender said in a Press conference at the Giallorossi’s pre-season training camp.

Is Bertolacci expendable?

Having just returned to Roma, Andrea Bertolacci looks set to move to Milan permanently. Aman Sehdev wonders if his sale is such a bad thing.
