Sabatini: 'It's all my fault'

Roma director Walter Sabatini took the blame for their Europa League defeat, but said “resigning now would be like running away.”

The Giallorossi have crashed out of the Champions League, Coppa Italia and now Europa League, while their Serie A lead in second place has been cut to one point.

Roma's Garcia, Sabatini to resign?

Coach Rudi Garcia and sporting director Walter Sabatini could resign should Roma not make next year's Champions League, say reports.

The Giallorossi season is spiralling out of control with eight draws, one defeat and only one victory in the last 10 games in Serie A.

On from director Mauro Baldissoni's statements yesterday saying that the Coach was not the only one whose career was at risk, sources are now painting a clearer picture of what the future of the team could be.

Sabatini: 'Roma not working'

Roma director Walter Sabatini ignored Scudetto questions and discussed why Mattia Destro left for Milan.

He spoke to Sky Sport Italia after today’s 1-1 draw at Hellas Verona, which left them nine points adrift of leaders Juventus.

The top two go head-to-head next Monday, so will it be the first match point for Juventus?

Sabatini: ‘Roma, I was wrong’

Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini admits he ‘may have been wrong’ about recent transfer decisions taken.

The transfer guru was interviewed today following yesterday's disappointing 1-1 draw with Feyenoord in the Europa League Round of 32.

Speaking to Roma Radio, he admitted that he could not account for the team's current crisis, though offered some accountability.

‘Roma had lost something, but…’

Walter Sabatini admits Roma lost something on the pitch against Bayern Munich, but assures that it will return in time.

The Giallorossi’s dip in form of late has been put down in part to the psychological impact of last autumn’s heavy 7-1 defeat to the Bundesliga side in the Champions League group stage.

Roma 'not optimistic' on Salah

Roma have been in negotiations with Chelsea for Mohamed Salah all day, but reports are “not optimistic.”

According to Sky Sport Italia, director Walter Sabatini flew out to London for talks and the meeting stretched on from 12.00 GMT to well into the evening.

However, the same report suggests both parties are not optimistic about finding a deal.

Chelsea want £550,000 for the six-month loan with an option to buy at the end of the season for £11m.
