Did Lyon snub Khedira?

French newspaper L’Equipe claims Juventus tried to send Sami Khedira to Olympique Lyonnais, but Coach Sylvinho turned him down.

The 32-year-old has gone from outcast to firm fixture in Maurizio Sarri’s midfield in only a few weeks.

According to this report, the Bianconeri had agreed a loan move with Lyon, but Sylvinho pulled the plug on the whole affair.

The Coach was seemingly unconvinced by Khedira’s fitness levels after a series of injuries.

French sides in for Suso?

Ligue 1 sides Monaco and Olympique Lyonnais are reportedly on the trail of Milan attacker Suso.

With that in mind, the newspaper writes the Rossoneri are prepared to sell him for €35m and interest has emanated from France, where Lyon and Monaco are keen.

However, while his agent would have tried to sell him the two clubs, the Spaniard is said to prefer staying in Serie A.
