Juve and Napoli play in Portugal?

French media suggest the second legs of the Champions League Round of 16 Juventus-Lyon and Barcelona-Napoli will be played in Portugal.

The Final Eight tournament in August means that from the quarter-finals onwards, the teams will fight it out in individual one-off matches, all played on neutral turf in Lisbon.

This will help limit travel and potentially also allow some fans in, as Portugal has relatively few COVID-19 cases in comparison with other European countries.

New Inter defender depends on Godin

Inter are studying the transfer market for a new defender in case Diego Godin decides to leave after only one season at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Olympique Lyonnais have, according to Tuttosport, been in contact with the Uruguayan but the high salary could cause complications for the Ligue 1 side.

If the veteran decides to leave Milan this summer, Inter have been looking at investing in a young player, with Hellas Verona youngster Marash Kumbulla and Nice defender Malang Sarr available.

Lyon intensify Godin approach

Inter are open to selling Diego Godin after just one season, but Olympique Lyonnais are struggling to meet his wage demands.

Multiple sources in France and now Italy point to Lyon making an approach for the 33-year-old Uruguay international.

He joined the Nerazzurri as a free agent last summer from Atletico Madrid, but has failed to make an impact.

Godin has regularly been benched in favour of youngster Alessandro Bastoni, so with a €5m net plus bonuses per year contract, Inter are more than happy to let him leave.
