The 34-year-old was snapped up as a free agent last summer after nine years with Atletico Madrid, but struggled for regular playing time.

He made 25 competitive appearances for the Nerazzurri this season, but is increasingly behind Alessandro Bastoni in Antonio Conte’s plans.

According to RMC Sport pundit Mohamed Bouhafsi, Lyon are asking after Godin and his availability this summer.

Tousart out of Lyon squad for Juventus

Olympique Lyonnais will not be able to count on Lucas Tousart for the Champions League against Juventus, as he has joined Hertha Berlin.

Tousart scored the only goal of the first leg in February and the decider is planned for early August.

However, he won’t be participating because he was only on loan from Hertha Berlin until June 30.

The Germans announced today they are not extending the loan, which means Tousart will be training with Hertha Berlin from July.
