No ban for Cutrone

Milan striker Patrick Cutrone won’t be banned for his handball goal against Lazio, as the Lega Serie A rules it was unintentional.

The youngster opened the scoring against Lazio on Sunday, but replays showed that he had diverted the ball in with his arm.

The officials opted not to consult VAR, but the disciplinary board requested footage of the incident to determine whether he had deliberately handled the ball.

If he had been found to have done so, he could have banned for two matches for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Milan on Donnarumma second

Milan are after a second goalkeeper and are thinking of Steve Mandanda, Vid Belec, Tim Krul or Salvatore Sirigu.

The explosion of Gianluigi Donnarumma reassured Milanisti that their goal will be protected for a long time to come, but the club still needs to find an adequate alternative to cover the bench.

According to Calciomercato.it, Milan are looking at Marseille's Mandanda, who may come in as a free agent, Carpi's Belec, and Newcastle's Krul, though the latter may not be willing to join a team where he cannot play as a starter.
