"On a personal level I feel great and I'm happy that [Antonio] Conte gives me great confidence and always lets me play."

Vidal to Inter for Lautaro 'option'?

Antonio Conte could get Arturo Vidal in January, as Barcelona reportedly propose a loan with preferential treatment for Inter stars Lautaro Martinez, Milan Skriniar and Stefano Sensi.

The Inter coach, who managed Vidal at Juve from 2011 to 2014, is looking for midfield reinforcements after complaining about a lack of squad depth, and doesn't see a future for Borja Valero or Matias Vecino at the club.

Vidal, for his part, has complained about a lack of playing time at the Camp Nou and wants to move on, speaking fondly of his time with Conte.

Skriniar: Inter working to win

Milan Skriniar claims Inter “have been working since the first day of preseason to win” as Antonio Conte has already “changed our mentality”.

Inter lost 2-1 to Juventus in the Derby d’Italia last weekend to drop to second in Serie A, but that was their only League defeat after seven games, having won the first six.

“We’ve been working since the first day of preseason to win,” Skriniar told Sport Mediaset after Slovakia’s 1-1 draw with Wales on Thursday.

Skriniar: 'Inter need to be aggressive'

Milan Skriniar admits Inter “need to be more aggressive in our defending around the penalty area” after defeats to Barcelona and Juventus.

The Nerazzurri lost 2-1 midweek at Camp Nou and the same result this evening in the Derby d’Italia at San Siro.

“It has been a mixed week, because we played not badly in Barcelona and here tonight too. We kept the ball and created chances, but were unable to score the goals,” the defender told Sky Sport Italia.

Skriniar: 'Inter unacceptable'

Milan Skriniar warns Inter they “were asleep” in the 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague. “It’s unacceptable to play like this in the Champions League.”

The Nerazzurri had been trailing 1-0 and were fortunate not to concede more, but Nicolò Barella volleyed in from a corner in stoppages to equalise.

Considering the other teams in the group are Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund, this was in theory the easiest fixture for Inter.

Man City told to forget Skriniar

Inter are already telling Manchester City to forget about signing Milan Skriniar in the January transfer window.

The reports emerged in English papers over the weekend that City had chosen the Slovakia international to strengthen their injury-ravaged defence.

However, even the €60m price-tag won’t be enough to prise him away from San Siro mid-season.

According to Tuttosport, Coach Antonio Conte has decreed Skriniar is off the market, especially in a January transfer window.

Man City try again for Skriniar

Manchester City are going to try a new bid for €60m-rated Inter defender Milan Skriniar in January, according to the Express on Sunday.

This is certainly not the first time they have attempted to purchase the Slovakia international, but all previous offers were rejected.

The 24-year-old centre-back was purchased from Sampdoria in 2017 for €34m, but his price-tag has since practically doubled.

Pep Guardiola is reportedly targeting Skriniar after Manchester City were struck by an injury crisis above all affecting their central defenders.
