No Inter return for Arnautovic

West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic will not be returning to Inter as he is close to a move to China.

Sky Sport Italia and Tuttosport both reported last month that Arnautovic had been identified by new Inter boss Antonio Conte as a cheaper alternative to Romelu Lukaku.

The Austrian was loaned to the Nerazzurri for their treble-winning 2009-10 campaign, making just three appearances before he joined Werder Bremen for €6.2m.

El Shaarawy now ready for Shanghai

Stephan El Shaarawy has agreed a move to Shanghai Shenhua, claim Sky Sport Italia, but Roma want €20m rather than €14m plus bonuses.

According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italy international has changed his mind after an initial rejection and is now eager for the move to China.

However, the two clubs are yet to work out a fee and will continue negotiating.

It’s reported Roma want at least €20m, whereas the offer on the table right now is just €14m plus bonuses.

Arnautovic wants Inter comeback

West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic is reportedly keen on a return to Inter, who could see him as a cheaper alternative to Romelu Lukaku.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Tuttosport, the Austrian would like to re-join the Nerazzurri, the club he spent one season on loan with from FC Twente in 2009-10.

As the London club rates him at around the €25m mark, Inter could be interested, seeing him as a cheaper alternative to the €80m that Manchester United want for Romelu Lukaku.

West Ham €40m for Belotti

West Ham United have seen a €40m offer for Torino striker Andrea Belotti rejected, it’s reported, having already missed out on Krzysztof Piatek.

The Premier League outfit need a replacement for Marko Arnautovic, who is pushing for a move elsewhere, most likely towards China.

They had originally targeted Genoa hitman Piatek, meeting the €40m plus bonuses asking price, but the Poland international is on the verge of joining Milan instead.

Arnautovic in Joao Mario switch?

Inter are trying to sell Joao Mario to West Ham United in a part-exchange deal with Marko Arnautovic, it’s reported.

It would be a return to San Siro for the Austria international striker, who had a very disappointing loan period at Inter from FC Twente in 2009-10.

He ended up moving from Stoke City to West Ham for €22.3m last summer and scored 11 goals with eight assists in 35 competitive games.
