Italy leapfrog Germany in rankings

Italy have leapfrogged Germany in the FIFA World Ranking, rising one place to 15th.

Italy dropped to 16th in July after Chile overtook them with a semi-final finish at Copa America.

However, wins against Armenia and Finland in Euro 2020 qualifying this month have moved the Azzurri up a spot to 15th.

Chile, in turn, have fallen three places after defeat to Honduras, while Germany’s 4-2 home reverse against Netherlands sees them drop directly behind La Nazionale.
