PSG searching in Italy?

Paris Saint-Germain are being linked with both Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri and his predecessor Massimiliano Allegri, as Thomas Tuchel faces an uncertain future.

La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira has reported that PSG could be looking to Italy in search of their next head coach at the Parc des Princes.

German tactician Thomas Tuchel has been struggling to convince in Europe and a 2-1 loss in the first leg against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League has not helped him secure his future in the French capital.

Icardi saga finally over, or is it?

Mauro Icardi left it to the last second to quit Inter for Paris Saint-Germain and Emmet Gates wonders how long it’ll last.

In population terms (within city walls), Paris is Europe’s fifth largest city. The French capital is home to some 2.2m people and yesterday that number increased, as Mauro Icardi and wife/agent Wanda Nara decided to move their polarising spectacle to the city of art, fashion and PSG.

Icardi’s transfer to the French champions ended months of internal wrangling, wishful declarations of intent and potential legal ramifications between the striker and Inter.

Sport Mediaset and La Gazzetta dello Sport continue to maintain PSG are preparing an offer, although Milan would only accept cash and not Alphonse Areola in part-exchange.

Juventus can tame Rabiot

The often fiery Frenchman joined Juventus on a free transfer and Vilizar Yakimov thinks Adrien Rabiot will be the missing piece of the midfield puzzle.

Adrien Rabiot might be only 24 years old, but it really seems that he has been around for a while. Standing at 188cm, the Frenchman possesses a colossus-like physique, which allowed him to start his professional career very early.

Prior to his move to Turin, Rabiot spent seven years at Paris Saint-Germain and registered 227 appearances for the French giants. The powerful midfielder made his senior debut for the club under Carlo Ancelotti in 2012 and has also represented his country at all levels starting from the U16’s.
