Borini to pay off Biglia?

It is claimed Milan could sell Fabio Borini to Lazio to cover the €7m they owe the Aquile for Lucas Biglia.

According to Il Messaggero, Milan still have a €7m instalment to pay Lazio from their €17m deal for Biglia last summer and have offered Borini to offset that money.

The Rossoneri have only signed free agents Ivan Strinic, Pepe Reina and Alen Halilovic this summer and are unlikely to spend any money until their ownership problems are sorted.

He has since been signed on a permanent basis by the San Siro club, who took him on loan from English side Sunderland last season.

However, Calciomercato reports that this will not put the Biancocelesti off submitting a bid for the former Liverpool man.

Report: Torino consider Borini

Torino will reportedly pursue a deal for Milan forward Fabio Borini if they lose Iago Falque, who is a target for Atalanta and Sevilla.

According to Tuttosport, signing Borini ‘will not be simple’, given Milan recently exercised their €5.5m purchase option for the ex-Sunderland attacker.

However, it could be ‘faciliated’ by Falque’s departure, ‘especially’ if he makes the more-lucrative switch to his native Spain with Sevilla.
