Roma: No Fazio for Torino

Roma defender Federico Fazio will miss tomorrow night’s game against Torino in Serie A with a muscle injury.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports the Argentine pulled up during the Giallorossi’s final training session earlier today.

As a precautionary measure, coach Paulo Fonseca doesn’t want to risk him, with next week’s match against Juventus on the horizon, so he will sit out on Sunday.

Conte focus vs Fonseca freedom

Antonio Conte’s movements are drilled into Inter players, while Paulo Fonseca gives Roma greater freedom, as Emmet Gates analyses Friday’s tactical battle.

In case you hadn’t heard, Inter are breaking all kinds of records this season. The Nerazzurri swept aside SPAL last weekend, and in the process secured their best ever start to a top-flight campaign, winning 12 of the opening 14 rounds. They have scored at least two goals in each of their last 10 competitive matches, a stat not seen since the peak of the Roberto Mancini era at the club. Pastore: 'Training better with Fonseca'

Pastore endured a false start to his Roma career last season, but he has established himself in recent weeks, in part due to the club’s injury crisis.

“I feel good and I’m happy with how things are going, although I’m sorry for how our last two games went,” he told Roma TV.

“We’re working well, and you’ll see very good things form us on the pitch once we return.

Pastore: 'Hugely disappointing'

Javier Pastore is “hugely disappointed” at defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach, as Roma wasted numerous chances and conceded at the death.

Pastore: 'Roma boos helped me'
