Former Inter director Massimiliano Mirabelli ‘can assure you Lionel Messi is more than a dream’ for owners Suning, who have been working on this for years.

With Barcelona humiliated 8-2 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final and the club on the verge of a revolution, reports are growing in Spain, Italy and Argentina that Messi could leave Camp Nou.

Manchester City or Inter appear to be the only real candidates and this is no idle interest from the Nerazzurri.

Gazzetta: Inter can pay Messi 50m salary

La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest Inter are making a genuine attempt to sign Lionel Messi from Barcelona, with a salary worth €50m net per year.

They are so far the only Italian source who maintain this is a real bid and were quoted by El Chiringuito in Spain today as well.

Messi is coming to the end of his contract at Camp Nou and increasingly frustrated with the ownership and ever-changing flow of coaches.

According to the Gazzetta, the Inter proposal would be a contract worth €50m per season net, for a total of €260m over four years.

Inter: New sponsors in the pipeline

Inter have announced a ‘number of possible new sponsorships in the pipeline’ after having released a €31.5m drop in revenue since March 2019.

The report from Inter Media and Communication, published by Calcio e Finanza, revealed a drop of 34 per cent in revenue and the Nerazzurri explained they are working on new deals.

“To date, we have a number of possible new sponsorship contracts in the pipeline, which, if finalised, will start from the beginning of the new fiscal year,” the club announced, according to Calciomercato.com

Suning Real Estate becomes official partner of Inter

Suning Real Estate has become an official partner of Inter, as the club continues to move on the Asian market.

FCInter1908.it writes that the club announced the new commercial partnership on their official Nerazzurri profile in China.

“Suning Real Estate has officially become an authorised partner of Inter Football Club,” the statement said. “The two companies will work together to create a beautiful community that integrates the experience of Italian style and sports culture.

Inter and Suning donate 300,000 masks

Inter have, together with Suning International, decided to donate 300,000 masks for medical use and other health products to the National Department of Civil Protection.

President Steven Zhang and Inter continue to offer their support in the battle against the Coronavirus, after initially supporting China they now also start to help Italy.

Including the donation of protective clothing and disinfection products, they are giving 300,000 masks to the National Department of Civil Protection.

Zhang: 'Closed door games correct call'

Inter President Steven Zhang says the decision to play games behind closed doors is the right move for “public safety,” and that the financial losses incurred by the closures are “not important.”

Zhang has been critical of the Lega Serie A’s constant flip-flopping in regards to fixtures, and so went as far as to call the President of the league Paolo Dal Pino a “clown.”

Zhang gave an interview to the CGTN channel in his native China and talked about the Coronavirus in Italy.

Moratti: 'Suning right for Inter'

Former President Massimo Moratti has shown his support to the new patron and claims Suning will lead Inter “into the future in the right way”.

It has been three and a half years since Suning bought the shares from Moratti and the club has finally returned to fight for the Scudetto this term.

Zhang: 'Inter doubled revenue'

Inter President Steven Zhang said Suning have “doubled the revenue” since they took over in 2016 and are “walking towards a future we couldn’t have dreamed of before.”

The Chinese company purchased the club from Erick Thohir, who had replaced Massimo Moratti a couple of years earlier.

This week, Steven Zhang – the son of Suning chief Zhang Jindong – celebrated one year as President of the club.

Inter set new revenue records

Inter announced they have set a new club record with revenue of €415m for 2018-19, an improvement of 20 per cent on last year.

Owners Suning Group have worked hard to boost income, which they saw as just as important as cost-cutting to break away from Financial Fair Play restrictions.

According to news agency ANSA, Inter have for the first time earned more than €400m in revenue, specifically €415m.
