Fiorentina raise Vlahovic asking price

Fiorentina are ready to crank up the price-tag for Milan, Juventus and Tottenham target Dusan Vlahovic to €60m.

The 21-year-old has been a sensation this season, scoring 19 Serie A goals in 33 appearances, many of them over the last few months.

He had been valued at €40m, but the amount of attention he has received from Serie A and Premier League clubs has seen that increase.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Viola President Rocco Commisso now wants €60m in order to release the Serbia international.

Iachini: 'Fiorentina must turn things around at home'

Fiorentina coach Beppe Iachini revealed Franck Ribery could play and said it’s ‘still too early’ to compare Dusan Vlahovic and Lazio forward Ciro Immobile.

Iachini aims to secure the first home win in almost three months ahead of the match between the Viola and the Aquile in Florence.

“We have not won at home since mid-February,” Iachini said at a press conference. “We have to turn things around to win the points we need.

“Against Lazio we will therefore have to be the protagonists of a great match.”

Fiorentina have reportedly set a price-tag that exceeds €60m for Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, amid interest from Europe.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports the Viola are preparing to fend off potential suitors for the 21-year-old.

Vlahovic has impressed at Fiorentina this term, scoring 17 goals in 32 Serie A games, and the report claims giants from Europe, both from Spain and England, are interested in the youngster.

Fiorentina are trying to lock Dusan Vlahovic down to a new contract, which could include a release clause, amid interest from Milan, Juventus, Roma, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Beppe Iachini believes Rocco Commisso will convince Dusan Vlahovic to stay at Fiorentina despite reports linking the striker with Roma and Milan.

The 21-year-old has scored 15 goals in 32 appearances with La Viola so far this season.

His contract expires in June 2023, but both Roma and Milan are reportedly interested in welcoming his services in the summer.

Milan and Roma chase Vlahovic

Dusan Vlahovic could leave Fiorentina this summer, with Milan and Roma among the clubs interested in the Serbian striker.

The centre-forward has a deal until June 2023 at the Artemio Franchi and President Rocco Commisso has, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, offered him a bumper new deal.

The newspaper claims Fiorentina have proposed to triple his current salary of €400,000 plus bonuses.

But the Serbia international’s future could still be elsewhere, with Milan and Roma mentioned as possible suitors from Serie A.
