Bonifazi back to SPAL?

SPAL have reportedly entered negotiations with Torino to bring Kevin Bonifazi back to Ferrara for a third time.

The 23-year-old was a key member at the Paolo Mazza when SPAL ended their 49-year long absence from the top division in 2016-17.

The defender also spent last season in Ferrara and now Gianluca Di Marzio claims SPAL are trying to bring him back for a third stint at the club.

SPAL President Walter Mattioli is allegedly prepared to offer Torino an initial loan with an option to buy the player for €11m this summer.

SPAL: Dabo in, Kurtic out

SPAL are on the verge of taking Bryan Dabo from Fiorentina and moving Jasmin Kurtic to Parma.

Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla reports SPAL are unable to keep Kurtic for “contractual reasons” and have found a buyer in Parma.

The 30-year-old has played for the Biancazzurri since January 2018, initially arriving on loan from Atalanta, and has made 18 appearances this season, scoring two goals.

Replacing him will be Dabo, who conversely not kicked a competitive ball for Fiorentina so far in 2019-20.

Berardi was sent off after the final whistle of Sassuolo’s controversial 2-1 defeat to Genoa, as the referee’s report confirms he made “gravely offensive” comments to one of the officials in the tunnel back to the dressing rooms.

He has been handed a two-match ban.
