Marchisio has Ronaldo regrets

Claudio Marchisio can imagine his future at Juventus, not necessarily as a coach, but confesses he “would like to have played with Cristiano Ronaldo.”

The now-retired midfielder spoke to DAZN about his plans now that he has hung up his boots in a career cut short by injuries.

“There are moments when I think that I could be a coach, because football was my life and I do often find myself analysing games with teammates, but analysing the game doesn’t mean you know how to be a coach,” said Il Principino.

Sarri: 'I could retire after Juventus'

Maurizio Sarri would see jeers as “a sign of affection” from his old Napoli fans, but hints Juventus could be his final coaching role.

It kicks off on Sunday at 19.45 GMT, click here for a match preview.

This will be the first time Sarri has returned to the San Paolo as an opponent, and technically the first time he has faced Napoli, seeing as when Juve won 4-3 in Turin back in Week 1, he was home in bed with pneumonia.

Bentancur back against Udinese?

Maurizio Sarri will reportedly have Rodrigo Bentancur back when Juventus face Udinese in Serie A this Sunday, to replace the banned Miralem Pjanic.

Therefore, the newspaper expects he will be back in contention to face Udinese, in a boost for Sarri who has lost Pjanic to suspension.

Sarri: 'Red card changed everything'

Maurizio Sarri was not too concerned after Juventus suffered their first defeat of the season, 3-1 against Lazio. “The red card changed everything.”

The Bianconeri had been the only team remaining in Europe’s top five leagues who were unbeaten in all competition, but that run came to an end at the Stadio Olimpico.

“I thought we had a good first half, doing very, very well, but unfortunately allowed that goal right on the stroke of half-time,” Sarri told DAZN.
