Zhang looks for 'constant growth' at Inter

President Steven Zhang said Inter ‘aspire to win’, praised coach Antonio Conte and admitted the Nerazzurri were never in for Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi.

The Nerazzurri patron reveals Inter have to sell to buy in the current transfer market but warns things have changed in football.

“Football is experiencing a very delicate and turbulent moment at international level, this attitude of prudence will not only concern the current transfer market but must be respected in the future too,” Zhang told Corriere della Sera.

Official: Conte stays at Inter

Inter have confirmed Antonio Conte will continue as head coach at San Siro, after a ‘constructive’ meeting between the tactician and patron Steven Zhang.

The former Juventus coach revealed after the Europa League Final that he was uncertain regarding his own future but has agreed with President Zhang to stay on and have another go at winning the Scudetto next season.

Sky Sport Italia reported that the respective lawyers were present during the meeting taking place in a villa outside Milan.

Inter: Zhang meets with Conte today

Decisive hours at Inter, as President Steven Zhang will meet with coach Antonio Conte today, to discuss the future at San Siro.

The Nerazzurri coach admitted his future was not certain after the Europa League Final defeat to Sevilla last Friday, and Sky Sport Italia reveals the President will meet face to face with the former Italy CT today.

The report claims Inter will not be able to promise Conte substantial investments on the transfer market and will be on a budget given the current financial situation.

Allegri natural next step for Inter

Zhang arrives for Conte meeting

Inter President Steven Zhang has arrived in Germany to meet with coach Antonio Conte, accompanied by several directors.

The squad is camped out in Dusseldorf ahead of tomorrow night’s Europa League semi-final with Shakhtar Donetsk.

Zhang would’ve made the trip earlier, but needed a brief quarantine period after travelling from China.

Zhang travels to Germany tomorrow

Inter President Steven Zhang went through the required coronavirus tests at Appiano Gentile today, before leaving for Germany tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri chief had to go through the required checks of the UEFA protocol before travelling to be with the squad in Düsseldorf.

ANSA reports that the President travels with the managers tomorrow and will follow his team from close range when Inter face Shakhtar Donetsk in the semi-finals of the Europa League on Monday.

Drama at Inter as list of errors meant for Zhang ends up at the HQ

A report of errors made by the management at Inter was intended for President Steven Zhang, but ended up at the headquarters by a mistake, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The newspaper explains that the evaluation of last summers mistaken strategies made by the management was not intended to end up at their desks, but the directors were included by a mistake.

The President received a letter containing a list of what has been considered mistakes committed last summer by the management, ‘not attributable’ to coach Antonio Conte.

Inter: New sponsors in the pipeline

Inter have announced a ‘number of possible new sponsorships in the pipeline’ after having released a €31.5m drop in revenue since March 2019.

The report from Inter Media and Communication, published by Calcio e Finanza, revealed a drop of 34 per cent in revenue and the Nerazzurri explained they are working on new deals.

“To date, we have a number of possible new sponsorship contracts in the pipeline, which, if finalised, will start from the beginning of the new fiscal year,” the club announced, according to Calciomercato.com
