There were reports over the last few days that De Laurentiis was in talks to snap up a Belgian side and use it as a feeder club.

However, now Rai Sport claim that the patron has turned his focus towards Portugal and flew out to Lisbon on Monday for a meeting with Jorge Mendes.

He is said to be evaluating the purchase of a club either in the top flight or second division.

Double negotiation for Cancelo?

Inter are reportedly looking to lower the fee for Joao Cancelo, but they could have to offer him a wage rise.

The full-back is on loan from Valencia, with an option to make the deal permanent for €35m at the end of the season.

The Portuguese international has been in fine form so far this season, and scored his first goal for the Nerazzurri last night.

As a result, the club are keen to keep him but are looking to lower the fee they’ll have to pay to Valencia.

Valencia push for Cancelo return?

Valencia are reportedly pushing hard to bring back Joao Cancelo from his loan spell at Inter.

According to Superdeporte, Valencia have identified Cancelo as their third January arrival after Luciano Vietto and Francis Coquelin, to the extent that Coach Marcelino is prepared to wait until the last few days of the transfer window for the right-back.

His agent Jorge Mendes would have also ‘insisted’ that Cancelo was released by Inter, but the newspaper warns the Nerazzurri are demanding a fee for the Portuguese’s arrangement to be cut short.

PSG offer €170m for Milinkovic?

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing a mammoth €170m bid for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the deal is being conducted through super-agent Jorge Mendes.

The newspaper adds the Aquile have been “blown away” by the offer as only Neymar and Kylian Mbappe would command higher transfer fees in world football.

Furthermore, it would smash Serie A’s record sale of €110m, paid by Manchester United to bring Paul Pogba back from Juventus last year.

Milan CEO Marco Fassone would not confirm or deny Diego Costa rumours, but said “one day we’ll reveal all” of the Gianluigi Donnarumma saga.

“We hope to have started putting the right players at the disposal of the Coach. We are well aware of the risks of putting 10 new players into a locker room, but trust the Coach and squad will work to gel as quickly as possible,” Fassone told Sky Sport Italia as he arrived for the 2017-18 Serie A fixtures ceremony.

Milan in for James Rodriguez?

Milan are reportedly looking to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid, for a fee of €40m.

“He’s a young lad with so much quality,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“He can become one of the best strikers in the world, he has everything to be so.

Milan enter Costa race

Sky Sports UK claims Milan are in talks with the agent of Chelsea striker Diego Costa.

The Spanish international has revealed that he’s no longer part of Antonio Conte’s plans, something the former Italy CT allegedly told him by text.

The striker is keen to return to Atletico Madrid, but they can’t sign players until January due to a transfer ban, and it’s unlikely Costa would want to spend six months on the sidelines.

According to Sky Sports though, Milan are in talks with his agent, Jorge Mendes, about a possible deal.
