Nagy leaves Bologna for Bristol City

Bologna have officially sold Hungary midfielder Adam Nagy to Bristol City for a reported €2.5m plus bonuses.

Nagy has signed a three-year contract with City, which includes the option of a fourth season.

He joined Bologna from Ferencvaros in 2016 for €1.8m and was contracted to the club for another two years.

However, the 24-year-old made just 16 competitive appearances last season and is now headed for the EFL Championship.

Bologna send Nagy to Bristol City

Bologna and Hungary midfielder Adam Nagy has agreed a €2.5m transfer to Bristol City, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The 24-year-old had also been linked with newly-promoted Serie A side Lecce.

He only joined the Rossoblu in 2016 from Ferencvaros for €1.8m and was under contract at the Stadio Dall’Ara until June 2021.

Nagy made just 16 competitive appearances for Bologna last season, 14 of them in Serie A.

The deal is believed to be worth €2.5m, including bonuses.

Spalletti fined €10,000

Inter Coach Luciano Spalletti has been fined €10,000 for insulting referee Maurizio Mariani after the defeat to Sassuolo.

The Nerazzurri were beaten 1-0 at the Mapei Stadium, the fourth match in a row in which they’ve been defeat by the Emilian side.

After the match, Spalletti issued “gravely offensive” words to the referee, the Lega Serie A found, for which he’s been fined €10,000 and given an official warning.

Bologna confirm Nagy out for season

Bologna have confirmed that midfielder Adam Nagy will miss the rest of the season due to a muscular injury sustained to the quadriceps.

The 21-year-old defensive midfielder was signed from Ferencvaros after impressing for Hungary during Euro 2016, warding off reported interest from the likes of Benfica, Marseille and Leicester City.

The news will come as a blow to Coach Roberto Donadoni after the youngster has become a regular in the side for the Rossoblu, starting 22 Serie A games since his arrival this summer.

Official: Bologna sign Nagy

Bologna have officially signed Hungarian youngster Adam Nagy from Ferencvaros.

The 21-year-old was impressive for his country at Euro 2016, and had attracted interest from clubs such as Benfica, Marseille and Leicester City.

However, following the signing of Czech winger Ladislav Krejci, the Rossoblu have added the Magyar midfielder.

“FC Bologna 1909 announces the signing of midfielder Adem Nagy on a permanent basis from Ferencváros TC,” a short statement on the club’s official website reads.

Bologna snap up Nagy

Bologna have agreed terms with Ferencvaros for Hungary international midfielder Adam Nagy, it’s reported.

Sky Sport Italia claim the deal is practically done on a permanent basis.

He is expected to fly in for a medical on Monday after finalising personal terms.

Only turning 21 last month, Nagy had been linked with clubs including Olympique Marseille and Leicester City.
