Maradona 'left in agony' by medics

An inquest has found Napoli hero Diego Armando Maradona would’ve had ‘a better chance of survival’ if he’d received proper medical care and was left in ‘agony’ for at least 12 hours before his death.

The Argentina legend had just come out of hospital when he died at his home from heart failure in November, aged just 60.

Maradona’s 'last video' before his death

Cronica TV  have published a video of Diego Armando Maradona recorded just a few days before his death. ‘I've taken a bump, but everything is fine,’ the Napoli legend said.

Maradona died on November 25 2020 following a cardiac arrest.

He had only turned 60 on October 30 and was released from hospital a couple of weeks ago following brain surgery.

Now, Cronica TV in Argentina have published a video recorded just a few days before his death.

The World Cup winner ended his playing career in Argentina with Boca in January 2020, after six months, seven games and one goal for the club.

“I do miss Boca and Argentina. I enjoyed every single minute of my time there,” De Rossi told ESPN Argentina.

Zola: ‘What Maradona told me in Manchester’

Gianfranco Zola reveals what Diego Armando Maradona told him before the Soccer Aid charity match at Old Trafford in 2006 and says he’s lost an ‘older brother.’

The former Chelsea, Cagliari and Napoli star played with Maradona at the San Paolo stadium, which has now been named after the Argentinean legend.

“Diego was like an older brother for me,” Zola told La Repubblica newspaper.

Autopsy reveals cause of Mardona’s death

Diego Armando Maradona’s post-mortem examination reportedly confirmed the Napoli legend did not take drugs or alcohol before his death.

Argentinean paper Olé revealed the results of the post-mortem examination conducted on the body of Maradona, who died on November 25 aged 60.

The analysis confirms Maradona did not take drugs or alcohol during the days before his death, which occurred because of an acute pulmonary oedema, associated with the exacerbation of chronic heart failure.

Maradona ‘wanted his body embalmed and exhibited in museum’

A letter signed by Diego Armando Maradona on October 13 appears to prove the Napoli legend wanted his body embalmed and exhibited in a museum.

Maradona expressed his will in a letter sent to his lawyer Matias Morla and published by The Sun.

“After a deep analysis I want to express my wish that after my death my body be embalmed and exhibited in said museum, surrounded by my maximum trophies,” the letter reads.

Rafael van der Vaart has revealed he ‘didn’t get along’ with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and explained why Diego Armando Maradona was better than Leo Messi.
