Ferrero: 'Fed up of Mihajlovic'

Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero pledged to reinforce his squad, denied Mattia Destro talks and is “fed up” of Sinisa Mihajlovic’s doubts.

The fiery patron sat down with Sky Sport Italia and naturally the first question was about Coach Mihajlovic, who has hinted at a summer exit towards Napoli or Milan.

“Will Mihajlovic stay? Do I have to answer that? I think nobody has understood what’s going on, because I certainly haven’t.

Destro stays, Doumbia goes?

Roma are reportedly set to revamp their forward line, with Seydou Doumbia possibly leaving and Mattia Destro returning to the capital.

Destro is currently on loan at Milan and scored the winning goal against the Giallorossi on Saturday, while Doumbia only arrived at the Olimpico in January.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport believes that the Lupi are looking to let Ivorian international Doumbia go at the end of the season and let Destro stay.

Euro race wide open

Although Juventus wrapped up the Scudetto with time to spare, the inconsistency of the teams below makes for a compelling season finale, says Alasdair Mackenzie.

With the title sewn up and the relegation candidates all but confirmed,  you’d be forgiven for thinking that the 2014/15 Serie A season is over with three rounds remaining.

However, as has so often been the case in the recent years of Bianconeri dominance, the desperate chase for those illustrious European spots is providing some thrilling and unpredictable results.

Lazio had a golden opportunity on Sunday evening and for the first 20 minutes, it looked as though they would seize it with both hands.

Destro loan may extend

Milan are reportedly considering extending their loan of Roma striker Mattia Destro into next season.

The Italian international joined the Rossoneri in January and despite making a limited impact with only three goals, he could still be at San Siro next season.

According to Peppe Di Stefano, Milan will not consider offering €16 million to buy the player outright but will consider a second loan move.

Garcia: 'Roma wasted an hour'

Rudi Garcia blasted his Roma players for a 2-1 defeat to Milan. “We wasted an hour. They haven’t realised the situation.”

The Giallorossi only recaptured second place from Lazio last week and could well lose it again, as the Aquile face Inter tomorrow night, while Napoli could close to within two points.

After two consecutive victories, they capitulated 2-1 at San Siro against a Milan side that had nothing to play for.

Garcia: ‘Destro a threat’

“We could talk about Destro, who we know is talented,” Garcia said when asked about Milan’s danger men in his pre-match Press conference.

“Now he’s at Milan, and I only speak about Roma.
